Jersey Shore Interesting Fact of the Week!
The Intercoastal Waterway begins at the Manasquan Inlet and stretches right down to Florida. By using the Intercoastal, a boat can sail the entire passage, without having to use the Atlantic Ocean!

i read an article in a sailing magazine about someone who sailed from FL to maine using this waterway (i am preparing to sail the atlantic next summer)
Alex, Thats exciting that you will be sailing next summer, I was recently sailing in the British Virgin Islands over the winter...you should check that out
Who knew that there was a path from Maine to Florida besides the Atlantic Ocean? How cool!
