Jersey Shore Interesting Fact of the Week!

The Intercoastal Waterway begins at the Manasquan Inlet and stretches right down to Florida. By using the Intercoastal, a boat can sail the entire passage, without having to use the Atlantic Ocean!

i read an article in a sailing magazine about someone who sailed from FL to maine using this waterway (i am preparing to sail the atlantic next summer)
